Halloween Time is upon us at Disneyland from now through October 31. We visited the Downtown Disney District this past weekend to check it out. We didn’t have park tickets or reservations, but wanted to check out all of the new Fall 2021 decor and merchandise at Downtown Disneyland!
Downtown Disneyland Fall 2021 Decorations
The Halloween Time banners are out on the lampposts. We spotted two different ones. There is one with a Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern.
Here is another with Vampire Mater from Cars. You may recognize him from the Disneyland Halloween Time commercial.
Disneyland and California Adventure Fall 2021 Entrance Decorations
Even with no park tickets or reservations we went to check out the entrances to see the new decorations. The entrance to Disneyland has the classic gang heads in pumpkin form.
One last view of Disneyland! Let’s head over to California Adventure.
Oogie Boogie guards the entrance to California Adventure. It looks like he’s in a scary pumpkin patch.
Since we don’t have tickets, it’s back to Downtown Disney! Disneyland has a fun and free scavenger hunt going on called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. You can ask a cast member for one of these cards and then try to find different pumpkins hidden throughout Downtown Disney. At the end you can trade in your pumpkin card for a special tumbler.
A cast member told us you don’t actually have to play and can just take the card to buy a tumbler of your choice. There are four different ones to choose from for $9.99 each.
We decided not to play, but had fun spotting the different pumpkins hidden about. Here is one of Minnie Mouse. Some of them are harder to find. It looks like a great activity to do with your kids, and it is free, especially if you don’t want to buy the tumbler.
Downtown Disneyland Fall 2021 Merchandise
Next we head to the World of Disney to see the new Fall 2021 merchandise, and even more Halloween decorations to see!

Mummy Pluto spotted in the corner!
Donald has a lot of pumpkins.
I like the pumpkin castle in the background. There are so many pumpkins.
So Many Pumpkins!
There’s even pumpkin Mickey ears! Haven’t seen these before. There’s also a Minnie Mouse pumpkin decoration…
And a Mickey Mouse one!
A very large Mickey Trick or Treat pumpkin is near the middle of the store.
This is a cute candy bowl to hand out candy on Halloween. Hopefully not too scary!
More Mickey pumpkin bowls and decorations. Did I mention there was a lot of pumpkins?
This looks like a Halloween wreath to hang on a door. Complete with dangling spiders for extra scare factor.
This is a Mickey Pumpkin pillow. Try to say that three times fast.
Another trick or treat pumpkin. This one is small enough to take home.
This is a really cute Halloween countdown calendar. I didn’t know this was a thing. Guess what it’s made of…pumpkins! This is a neat way to count down the days until Halloween.
Next, we take a look at some fall and Halloween themed clothing. Some of our favorites are included below. These guys are definitely the original baddies.
This shirt speaks the truth. Although, if you are the one wearing it, are you admitting this is you?
A very nice Coco “Remember Me” sweatshirt. I like the little Miguel on the sleeve.
There is a whole wall of The Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise.
You can even dress up your pet for fall with this Happy Halloween Disney dog spirit jersey.
I didn’t know Halloween stockings were a thing, but I guess you could use this for Christmas? This is a Disney Parks Haunted Mansion stocking.
You can even get a head start on your Christmas shopping with these Minnie Mouse ornaments.
In addition, there are also some cute Disney character ones of Mickey & Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy.
Fall 2021 at Downtown Disneyland is in full swing! Even though we didn’t have theme park tickets, we still had a nice time checking out the new Halloween decorations and merchandise.
